In the competition named Re-Movie It following boys re-enacted the scene of the Bollywood movie Three Idiots for which they were awarded the First Prize.
The prize-winning clip is available on the official YouTube Channel of La Martiniere College, Lucknow. Apart from certificates of participation and winning each winning member also received an Amazon Gift Card and Geeks for Geeks Python Programming Course worth Rs. 1499.
La Martiniere Media Team and the Creative Arts Society acknowledges the efforts of following boys who worked tirelessly behind the scenes in copywriting, dialogue writing, audio & video recording, editing, lighting, shading, hues, VFX, music score and cinematography.
La Martiniere College, Lucknow participated in Shutterfest 2022 an All India event organised by the Air Force Bal Bharati School, Lodi Road, New Delhi. This cvent consisted of large number of competitions in which following boys participated –
The following pupils of La Martiniere College, Lucknow were decorated in their respective events with the following medals –
1) 10 mt Air Rifle – Silver Medal – Badal
2) 10 mt Air Rifle – Gold Medal – Mehfooz Khan
3) 10 mt Air Pistol- Gold Medal – Aditya Kumar
The event was organized by District Football Association at La Martiniere College, Polo Ground from 24th February to 27th February. 40 teams Participated in which the College Team played five knock out matches and won the Finals.
Gaurav Rastogi was awarded as the ‘Most Promising Player’ of the Tournament Prabhav Mishra was awarded the ‘Best Player’ of the Tournament.
The Department of Science and Technology under the ‘INSPIRE awards’ scheme. (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) selected more than 42,000 students for the state levels around the country held physically before Covid.
La Martiniere College, Lucknow was represented by Urdhav Singh and after clearing all the levels and procedures he was among the 581 students from all over India selected to present his idea at the 8th National Level Exhibition & Project Competition organized virtually from 4th to 8th September 2021 by the Government of India. He was also felicitated with INR 25,000 from the National Innovation Foundation of India and the Department of Science and Technology for the same.

The College participated in the annual Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Show, held at Raj Bhawan on the 4th of March, 2022.
In total 145 prizes won. An amount of Rs 1,39,961 as prize money was received from the Government. Overall, La Martiniere College, Lucknow was awarded the Second position.

A delegation of 6 boys participated in the St. Stephen’s Model United Nations 2022, organized by the University of Delhi. Raajveer Wadhwa served as the Head Delegate. The following boys won awards:
1. Raajveer Wadhwa representing the French Republic in the United Nations Human Rights Council won the Best Delegate Award.
2. Shreyansh Singhal representing Pankaj Chaudhary in the Lok Sabha won the Verbal Mention.
In continuation with the Third Equestrian Display and Competition organised on 26th February 2022, show jumping was organised today at the La Martiniere College Show-Jumping Arena. The event was attended by the army officers from the Central Command, Lucknow, members of La Martiniere Lucknow Alumni and boys of La Martiniere College. Contestants from La Martiniere College, Lucknow, La Martiniere Girls’ College, Loreto Convent Intermediate College, Lucknow Race Course and individuals displayed their skills in the Show-Jumping.
Lt General Yogendra Dimri, AVSM, VSM General Officer Commanding- in- Chief, Central Command was the chief guest for the event.
La Martiniere College Lucknow hosted the 3rd Equestrian Display and Competition on the 26th of February 2022. Participants included the students of La Martiniere College as well as participation from riders, by invitation, from Central Command Riding School, Lucknow Race Course, Loreto convent Lucknow and La Martiniere Girls’ College Lucknow. The event was graced by the chief guests, Mr and Mrs Mathur.
The competition focused on discipline and the ability of the riders to control their horses. Grooming and overall turn out of both animal and rider was strictly judged as well. The competition was divided into events revolving around “Dressage”, “Walk, Trot and Halt” and the ever popular “Show Jumping”. Subdivisions were based on categories including age, gender and type of display.

Vedant Vig, a pupil of Class 9 and an active member of the La Martiniere Model United Nations Society was recently given the opportunity to attend an ancillary session of the United Nations Security Council because of his exemplary performance in a recent MUN Conference. With the agenda being the recent Ukraine-Russia tensions, Vedant actively participated in the session alongside other distinguished diplomats and world leaders.
Yoga Session for Middle School
Separate Yoga sessions were conducted for the middle school and senior school pupils as the commencement of a regular weekly activity. This was at Lake View Forest sirrounding the Lat.
Yoga instructor, Mr. Krishna Dutt Mishra, explained the significance of Yoga and instructed the pupils to perform some useful yoga asanas during this session.
The pupils of Class 7, on their recent induction to the Constantia campus were provided with an opportunity to tour the Founder’s palace on Tuesday, 22nd February, 2022, under the guidance of their respective class teachers. The Principal, Mr. Carlyle McFarland, hosted an interactive session for the students.
An interactive session was held for the Pupils of Class 8 and their Parents on Saturday, 19th February, 2022 to guide them about the Council rules and the significance of different subjects offered by the College in Class 9. The council guidelines were briefed by the Principal Mr. Carlyle McFarland.
Mr Hitesh Keswani, Counselor of Career Guidance Cell at La Martiniere College, Lucknow, explained the significance of each subject group offered.
Mr. Fakhre Azam, founder at Innate Pro – define, decode & sculpt the skills addressed the students and their parents as the guest speaker during the session.
The members of the La Martiniere Creative Arts Society (LCAS) 2022-2023 team were felicitated at the East Terrace. The Creative Arts Society is a trilingual society aiming at fostering an interest of students in theatre, dramatics, and cinematography, which adds to their holistic development.

A delegation of 19 boys Participated in the 10th Edition of Jayshree Periwal High School, Model United Nations Conference.
La Martiniere College, Lucknow was awarded the Best Delegation.
Vedant Vig served as the Head Delegate for the Conference. He was also awarded as the Best Delegate in the United Nations High Commission for Refugees. This provides him with the opportunity to attend a session of the United Nations Security Council.

The pupils of Class 6, on their recent induction to Constantia campus, were given a guided tour of the Founder’s palace by the Principal. The interactive session encouraged a knowledge of heritage and history and provided a sense of proprietorship.

A team of three boys comprising of Syed Mohammad Ayaan Rizvi, Parv Johar and Varnit Pandey represented La Martiniere College, Lucknow in the Rato Bangla, Nepal International Debates, on the 11 and 12 February, 2022.
Syed Mohammad Ayaan Rizvi was adjudged the Best Speaker in the first preliminary round.
The team from La Martiniere College, Lucknow was able to qualify for the Novice Semi-final round of the competition.
A delegation of 16 boys participated in the 9th edition of the Study Hall Model United Nations Conference. La Martiniere College, Lucknow won the Best Delegation Award. Raajveer Wadhwa served as the head delegate for the Conference. The following boys won awards:
1. Raajveer Wadhwa representing the Minister of Defence in the Constant Crisis Committee: Suez Canal Crisis of 1956, won the Best Delegate Award.
2. Shaurya Rautela representing the Russian Federation in the United Nations Human Rights Council, won the Best Delegate Award.
3. Paarth Saarthi representing Narendra Modi in the All India Political Parties Meet, won the High Commendation Award.
4. Devarth Tandan representing the Union of Myanmar in the United Nations Human Rights Council, won the High Commendation-1.
5. Krishna Kant Mishra representing Japan in the United Nations Human Rights Council, won the Special Mention Award.
6. Luke Jason Dass representing the People’s Republic of China in the United Nations Human Rights Council, won the Verbal Mention Award.
A team of 19 students from La Martiniere College, Lucknow participated in an Interschool event Shutterfest’22 organized by Air Force Bal Bharti School, Delhi. This event was held from 6th – 12th of February, 2022. We participated in 4 events in this Competition.
A team represented by Parv Johar, Ronit Singh, Aakarya Sharma, Devansh Aggarwal and Hitesh Tewari won First position in the event RE-MOVIE-IT. The task required participants to recreate a movie scene, in a clip of about 2 minutes.
The scenes were directed by Parth Agnihotri. Astik Gupta and Saksham Khatri assisted with the competition’s media aspects.

A team of two students was selected to represent La Martiniere College, Lucknow at a National level quiz competition organized by the Election Commission of India under the SVEEP program on 11 February, 2022.
The team comprised Akshat Rastogi and Devansh Agarwal of Class 11.
Due to an overwhelming response the ECI held a qualifiers in which 300 participants (150 teams) were selected out of the 5000+ participants.
La Martiniere College, Lucknow team qualified among the top six finalists and placed third.
The boys were awarded certificates and cash prizes of ₹1000 each by the District Magistrate of Lucknow.
A team of two students comprising of Aryaman Sethi and Devang Pratap Singh from Class 10 participated in ‘Orators for Life’, a debating event organised by The Modern School, Aliganj, Lucknow
– La Martiniere College, Lucknow was awarded the Best Team in the Grade 9 and 10 category.
– Aryaman Sethi and Devang Pratap Singh tied for the second position, individually.
Here’s some good news:
A delegation of 11 boys participated in the twelfth edition of Aitchison College Model United Nations, Lahore, Pakistan. Ameya Gupta served as the head delegate for the delegation.
La Martiniere College, Lucknow won the Best Delegation Award. In addition, the College was awarded the best international delegation award for the second time!

2. Shaurya Rautela representing the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the United Nations General Assembly won the High Commendation award.
