Annual Prize Day 2015-16

The Annual Prize Day for the year 2015-16 was held on the 23 April, 2016. The chief guest for this event was Mr. George Baker. Mr. Baker is an alumnus of this college. He is a notable politician and a national award winning actor. The event began with the chief guest being presented a Guard of Honour by the contingents of the N.C.C, Air Wing, Naval Wing, Rovers, Scouts and Cubs. The college choir presented two songs. A multimedia presentation in memory of  Rahul Shridhar was shown to the audience. This was followed by “ The Year That Was”-   a multimedia presentation  giving a glimpse into the major events and activities that took place in  the academic year 2015-16. Mrs. Baker gave away the prizes to the students of the junior school campus while the chief guest, Mr. Baker gave away the prizes to the students of the Constantia campus. Following this Mr. Baker addressed the college. He spoke about his life as a student at La Martiniere College, his acting career and his stint as a politician. The Vice Principal, Mr. Collins gave the vote of thanks.
