Interactive Session

An interactive session was held at the East Terrace. Students of Class 8 with their parents attended the same in which they were briefed about the combination of subjects, choices offered and new subjects being introduced for the ICSE Examinations, 2020. Students and their parents also had a chance to meet the teachers and seek their guidance in the selection of subjects.

French has been introduced in the school as a subject in Group C for the Indian Certificate for Secondary Education (ICSE). La Martiniere College is one of the pioneer schools who have introduced Mass Media as a new subject in the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). This was done under the flagship of La Martiniere College. Mr C Kerr, the person behind the establishment of the Radio Jockey club has set the syllabus of the newly introduced subject. The subject has been divided into three parts, Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising. There will be a 100 mark theory paper and a 100 mark practical assignment. Special emphasis will be laid on teaching through smart board for this particular subject. The practical assignments will be set around different locations in the city. Special emphasis will be laid on practical knowledge. The first examination will be held in 2020.
