Annual Art and Craft Exhibition

The Annual Art and Craft Exhibition (Middle and Senior School) was organised by the Art and Craft Department of the College and was held on the 21st and 22 nd of February. The exhibits were showcased in Spence Hall by members of the department, under the guidance of Mrs. Noorein Raza, Mr. Raju Ranjan and Mr. Hari Singh.

The exhibits comprised of ‘Tie and Dye work’, which was done on 300 dupattas, and nearly 300-350 vibrant paintings, with prices ranging from ₹200 – ₹8000. The craft work included fine string art, pebble painting, beautiful lamps, kites and sculptures made out of paper mache, plaster of paris, recycled material and matchsticks.

Although all the boys made exceptional paintings and did beautiful craftwork, the highlight of the exhibition was a painting of ‘The Last Supper’ by Maaz Beg of 11A, an abstract form of the masterpiece by Leonardo da Vinci.

The Chief Guest for the exhibition was Mr. Avadhesh Mishra, Assistant professor at Shakuntala University.

The Art and Craft Exhibition was open for all and was visited by parents and guests.
