10th Edition Model United Nations

A delegation of 19 boys Participated in the 10th Edition of Jayshree Periwal High School, Model United Nations Conference.

La Martiniere College, Lucknow was awarded the Best Delegation.

Vedant Vig served as the Head Delegate for the Conference. He was also awarded as the Best Delegate in the United Nations High Commission for Refugees. This provides him with the opportunity to attend a session of the United Nations Security Council.

In addition, the following boys won awards:

1. Vedant Vig representing the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees won the Best Delegate award.

2. Aaron Choudhury representing Sergei Lavrov, Foreign Affairs Minister in the Joint Crisis Committee won the Best Delegate Award.

3. Krishna Kant Mishra representing the Russian Federation in the United Nations General Assembly won the Best Delegate Award.

4. Ritvik Jhingran representing Moscow Times in the International Press won the Best Reporter Award.

5. Siddharth Srivastav representing South Korea in the G-20 Summit won the Outstanding Delegate Award.

6. Tejasvi Raj representing Palestine in the United Nations Security Council won the Outstanding Delegate Award.

7. Akshar Mishra representing Estonia in the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees won the Verbal Mention Award.

Executive Board:

1. Syed Mohammad Ayaan Rizvi served as the Vice Chairperson of the United Nations General Assembly.

2. Sarthak Singh served as the Vice Chairperson of the Joint Crisis Committee- Kremlin Control Center.

3. Vinayak Tandon served as the Rapporteur of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.
