Independence Day

The 71^st Independence Day of India was celebrated with a lot of splendour at La Martiniere College, Lucknow. The National Flag was unfurled by the Chief Guest , Brig. Alok Tripathi . Brig. Tripathi is an alumnus of the College and passed out in the year 1982 . A parade comprising of the N.C.C, Air Wing , Naval Wing , Scouts and Cubs was inspected by the Chief Guest. Brig Alok Tripathi addressed the pupils of the school and encouraged them to make maximum possible use of their education received at school. The Chief Guest then took the salute of the parade .

The  Final performance of the Annual Entertainment programme in Hindi was presented in the evening in Spence Hall. The programme included a play, dances and songs. The Principal proposed vote of thanks. The day’s proceedings ended with the singing of the National Anthem.
