Inter-House Boxing Championship

The Inter- House Boxing Matches for the year 2023 were held on the 22nd, 23rd and 25^th of February respectively. All the matches were conducted in the boxing ring which was set up at the East Courtyard after school hours. A strong fight was put up by all participants but only the best of them managed to secure the awards. The Championship in the Colts Division was won by Cornwallis House, Hodson House was first in the Junior Division while Lyons House excelled in the Senior Division.

The Finals were held in the evening on the 25^th of February under the lights, spectated by students dressed in their house attire and the occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. Nelson Maclure, Alumnus and former Boxing Secretary and his wife who attended as Chief Guests. The most promising boxers in their respective divisions were Mohd Shayaan, Elvis Tindale and Rudra Mishra and The Shepherd Trophy for the overall Champions in Boxing was won by Lyons House, awarded by Mr. Douglas Shepherd, an Ex-Martinian and a “State Level Boxer” himself.
