Republic Day 2024

The 75th Republic Day of our Nation was celebrated in the College on the East Terrace. Despite the morning being enveloped in a  blanket of fog, the National Flag was unfurled by the College Principal Mr. Carlyle McFarland in the presence of the students of the boarding house, the academic and administrative staff, the workers and for the first time some Parents of students in the Junior school who accompanied their little ones, inspite of  the low temperatures, and made it a point to see that their children understand the importance of this Day.

In his address to those gathered there Mr. McFarland spoke about the significance  of the Day and why having our Constitution  is so important.and needs to be upheld and respected by all. He also reminded the gathering that though the Constitution grants us Fundamental Rights we also have some duties to perform as responsible citizens of this Great Nation.
