Aditya Saurabh, a student of class 9-A participated in the 66th National pistol-shooting championship held at Bhopal from 24th November to the 4th of November. He scored an outstanding 549/600 and earned the esteemed title of ‘renowned shot’.
La Martiniere Law Society under the direction of Mrs Honey Dhawan organized the first edition of La Martiniere Moot Court from the 28th to 30th November, 2023. The event was attended by 96 participants divided into 32 different teams. La Martiniere College, Lucknow was represented by Keshav Mittal, Kritin Bhasin and Krishna
In the pool-finale round of the competition:
Keshav Mittal was awarded the Best Speaker Award
Krishna was awarded the Best Researcher Award

Keshav Mittal was further declared as the Overall Best Speaker of the competition.

City Montessori School, Chowk organized the 25th edition of ‘Quanta’ from the 15th to 18th of November, 2023. Participants from over 32 schools attended the event.
In the debate competition, La Martiniere College was represented by Kritin Bhasin. Kritin was declared the best speaker for the motion and was awarded the 1 prize at the debate competition.
The 139th Edition of the annual athletics meet of the Constantia Campus was held on the 23rd of November, 2023 on the Polo Ground, Major General (Retd.) Pratap Kumar Singh (Y.S.M., S.M., A.V.S.M.) was the Chief Guest, a matter of great pride to us Martinians, as Major General (Retd.) Pratap Kumar Singh is an ex-Martinian. As usual the chief guest made his entry on to the Polo Ground in the typical La Martiniere fashion, in Basanti, the Ceremonial Car, flanked on either side by the equestrian squad. The Chief Guest was cordially welcomed by the College Principal, Mr. Carlyle A. McFarland. Later, Major General (Retd.) Pratap Kumar Singh handed over the torch to the College’s Athletics Captain, Asher who then started the Lighting of the Torch Procession with the other captains of the various houses and clubs to the spot where the flame of the Meet was eventually lit.
With that the games finally began with a display of Archery skills by members of the Archery Team. This was followed by the Equestrian Display which kept the guests and spectators enthralled. A race that brought the crowd to their feet was the 2000 m Cycle Race for Juniors wherein Master Abdul Kabir set a new school Record of 5.03.25 breaking the previous record that was set in 2022. The audience was brought to its feet once again by the various relay races especially that in which the boys of La Martiniere participated with girls from the sister school.
Besides the athletics there were PT Displays from the students of 6, 7, 8 and 9. This was followed by a thrilling Gymnastic Display on the Mats, Parallel Bars, Vaulting Horse and the Ropes. This was followed by a Taekwondo Display. The Finale as always was the March Past by all the athletes of the various houses and the display by the College Brass and Pipe Bands
After this there was the much awaited Prize Distribution, Thereafter the chief guest took the stand and addressed the students of the college, after which there was a Vote of thanks by the College Principal.
The sun finally set on yet another Athletics Meet with the beating of the Retreat. Vive La Martiniere!
Extraordinary events in the College have necessitated the cancellation of the traditional Founder’s Day celebrations.
In respect to the wishes of the Founder, there shall be a private Commemoration Service attended voluntarily. All guests are welcome.
The traditional Founder’s Day Feast for the boys shall be served in Sykes Hall at 7.00 p.m.
Celebrations scheduled for Staff and Guests stand cancelled. All invitations issued for events on 13 September, 2023 are withdrawn, with regret.

Bastille Day is the common name given in English-Speaking countries to the National Day of France.
A special assembly was held in the Constantia Campus to celebrate the special day. The special assembly included the elements like a speech by Atharva Jain explaining the significance of Bastille Day followed by the School prayer, Pledge, Birthday song and the National Anthems of France and India performed by the students.
Mr. Rahul Nama along with his team members from Novotel Hotel graced the occasion with his presence and addressed the students about the interdependence of the language and the potential of the hospitality sector.
A French snack stall with different varieties of French bakes like croissant, opera pastry, Millie Feuille, macaron and many more delicacies was also put up for the students to help them enjoy the cuisine.
The students were trained by Dr. Amit Mukherjee and Ms. Meenal Chudhary, staff of the College teaching French language.
